Pookie’s Poetry Slam at Pookie’s Patisserie

An evening of poetry, spoken word, and community connection is planned for Pookie’s Poetry Slam on May 28, 2026 from 6 pm to 7 pm at Pookie’s Patisserie in Kerrville.

The event will feature performances from local poets and spoken word artists, offering guests an opportunity to listen, share creative work, and connect with others in the Kerrville community. Attendees interested in performing still have time to sign up and share an original written piece during the event.

Guests can also enjoy coffee, gelato, pastries, light bites, and the shop’s popular fruit mousse while taking in the performances. Admission is free and open to the public.
