Family Free Day at the Museum of Western Art

Family Free Day offers a monthly opportunity for families to explore western art, history, and hands-on activities in a welcoming museum setting. Visitors can enjoy the Museum of Western Art’s current exhibits, the Journey West Children’s Gallery, western art and artifacts, and the museum’s award-winning store throughout the day.
Family Free Day is held on the last Saturday of each month from 10 am to 4 pm at the Museum of Western Art, located at 1550 Bandera Highway in Kerrville, Texas. Admission is free for families during the event. Each month features a different themed activity, with January offering Painting with Snow, February featuring Candle Making, March to be announced, April highlighting Leather Works, and May focused on Painting.
