Creative Journal Writing Workshop: Moving Toward the Light at Unity of the Hill Country Library

Explore healing through creative writing during the Creative Journal Writing Workshop: Moving Toward the Light on Saturday, July 4, 2026 from 1 pm to 3 pm at the Unity of the Hill Country Library in Kerrville.

Presented as part of Unity of the Hill Country’s Weekend of Hope & Healing, this workshop will be led by award-winning author, writing coach, and workshop facilitator Rhonda Wiley-Jones. Through three guided writing exercises, participants will reflect on life’s challenges, explore the meaning they assign to those experiences, and discover pathways toward healing, hope, and resilience.

The workshop welcomes writers of all experience levels, including those who have never kept a journal. Participants are asked to bring paper and a pen for the interactive exercises.

A love offering will be accepted. The workshop is one of several community events commemorating the first anniversary of the July 4, 2025 flood through remembrance, faith, resilience, and hope.

The event will take place at the Unity of the Hill Country Library, 1016 Jefferson Street, Kerrville, TX. All are welcome.
