DESCRIPTION:Athletes and outdoor enthusiasts will gather in the Texas Hill Country for the Kerrville Training Weekend from June 19 through June 21\, 2026 at Kerrville-Schreiner Park. Designed as a training weekend for those preparing for races such as Ruidoso\, the event combines cycling\, running\, swimming\, and relaxed social gatherings in one of the region’s favorite outdoor destinations.\n\n\nParticipants can arrive Friday evening for a club dinner featuring barbecue from H-E-B before heading into a full Saturday morning of riding and running activities. Free time throughout the afternoon gives guests an opportunity to explore Kerrville or relax at the park before dinner at Mamacita’s later that evening. Sunday morning includes a group swim before the weekend concludes.\n\n\nAccommodations are available within Kerrville-Schreiner Park and include air-conditioned cabins\, RV sites\, and tent camping options. Organizers note that cabins are located in the High Point section while RV accommodations are available in Mountain Loop.
