Water Street Festival in Downtown Kerrville

The Water Street Festival comes to downtown Kerrville on Saturday, October 25, 2025, celebrating the city’s art, music, and community spirit. Hosted by the Kerrville Historic Downtown Business Alliance, this new event is designed to bring people together while showcasing the culture, creativity, and charm of Kerrville’s historic Main Street district.

Set among the shops, galleries, and restaurants of downtown Kerrville, the festival transforms Water Street into a walkable, family-friendly destination filled with live music, art, food, and local vendors. Storefronts will spill out into the streets, featuring pop-up shops, open-air tastings, and hands-on activities for all ages.

A highlight of the day will be the interactive plein air art competition, featuring 50 artists from across the country painting outdoors throughout the week. Their finished works will be displayed at the Kerr Arts & Cultural Center on the final day of the competition, October 25, offering visitors the chance to view and purchase fresh pieces created on-site.

The festival runs from 10 am throughout the day in downtown Kerrville. Admission is free and open to all ages.
