Season of Lights at Kathleen C. Cailloux City Center for the Performing Arts

A festive forest of Christmas trees will transform the lobby of the Kathleen C. Cailloux City Center for the Performing Arts in Kerrville during Season of Lights, a new Hill Country holiday tradition benefiting the performing arts center. Opening Saturday, November 21, 2026, the free display will feature uniquely decorated trees sponsored by local businesses, schools, churches, civic groups, organizations, and families. Visitors can stroll through a variety of displays ranging from traditional and elegant to whimsical and imaginative throughout the holiday season during regular box office hours. The exhibit runs through January 1, 2027.

The event will also feature the Artist Wreath Gallery, showcasing 20 one-of-a-kind holiday wreaths created by local artists and available through a silent auction. Bidding will continue throughout the display and close following the final performance of The Nutcracker.

Businesses, organizations, schools, churches, nonprofits, civic groups, and families can participate by sponsoring and decorating a Christmas tree. Sponsorship levels range from $250 to $2,500, with options offering different tree sizes and recognition benefits. Each sponsor will also have the opportunity to reserve the decorated theater lobby for a private holiday event for $2,400, subject to availability. Tree sponsors are invited to participate in the Holiday Lighting Parade opening celebration.

Proceeds from tree sponsorships, wreath auction purchases, lobby rentals, and donations support the Kathleen C. Cailloux City Center for the Performing Arts and its live performances, educational programs, youth productions, and community events.
