Schreiner Summer String Camp 2026 at Schreiner University

Young musicians can develop their skills and explore new musical opportunities during the Schreiner Summer String Camp 2026, taking place July 20 through July 24, 2026 from 9 am to 4 pm daily at Schreiner University in Kerrville.

Designed for string students in grades 2 through 12, the camp offers three orchestra levels to accommodate a range of experience levels, along with a guitar ensemble program. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from Schreiner University’s music faculty while working alongside fellow student musicians in a collaborative environment.

Afternoon electives include Region and All-State preparation, chamber music, fiddling and improvisation, songwriting, and digital audio production. Students will also benefit from guest artists, master classes, and access to Schreiner University’s state-of-the-art music building and sound studio.

The camp provides a comprehensive musical experience that combines performance, creativity, and education in the scenic Texas Hill Country.
