Running Home for the Holidays 5K at Louise Hays Park

Families and festive runners can celebrate the season during the Running Home for the Holidays 5K at Louise Hays Park. Participants are encouraged to dress as Santa, elves, Whoville characters, or any favorite Christmas figure for a fun and spirited event. This untimed race welcomes all ages and all paces—run, jog, or walk the course while enjoying the holiday atmosphere.

Each registration includes a medal and entry into a raffle for great prizes. Extra raffle tickets are available for $5 when purchased during registration. The first 50 participants to register are guaranteed an event t-shirt. Raffle winners will be announced at the event. Pre-registration is encouraged, and those who register by November 6, 2025, will receive a guaranteed t-shirt.

The race will take place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 3 pm. Registration closes December 3, 2025. The fee is $15 per participant, and the event is open to all ages.
