Plant Walk & Talk: Edible Plants at Riverside Nature Center

Plant Walk & Talk: Edible Plants takes place on Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 8 am to 10 am at the Riverside Nature Center in Kerrville. This guided program offers a hands-on opportunity to explore the edible plants found within the center’s gardens.

Led by Kim Ort, participants will walk through the gardens while learning to identify a variety of edible plants and gain insight into their uses. The program provides a practical and engaging way to connect with local plant life and expand knowledge of sustainable, nature-based resources.
