Painting with Wool – Needle Felted Landscape at Museum of Western Art

Artist Andrea Rummel leads a beginner-friendly workshop exploring the art of needle felting. Participants will learn to “paint with wool” by blending colors, layering fibers, and adding texture to create depth and movement in a charming countryside landscape.

The workshop takes place Friday, October 16, from 9 am to 1 pm at the Museum of Western Art, 1550 Bandera Hwy, Kerrville. Participants will explore techniques for creating expressive skies, rolling landscapes, whimsical sheep, blossoms, and falling petals while developing skills in fiber selection, composition, shading, and finishing. Each participant will leave with a wool painting and techniques for creating their own fiber art.
