On The Play for Veterans at Hill Country Youth Event Center

Trading card game enthusiasts and community supporters will gather for On The Play for Veterans on June 20, 2026 beginning at 11 am at the Hill Country Youth Event Center in Kerrville.

The event features a Magic: The Gathering tournament benefiting veterans, with the main competition focused on the Standard format alongside additional win-a-box side events throughout the day. Organizers are aiming for 128 players in the main event as they work toward making the tournament an annual community tradition.

Prize support for the tournament has been provided through donations and sponsorships, including special prizes from Dragon Shield. Participants will receive an exclusive commemorative coin, while Top 8 finishers will also receive an exclusive event T-shirt along with additional tournament winnings. Booster boxes and prerelease packs will also be awarded during the event.

On The Play for Veterans will take place at the Hill Country Youth Event Center, 3785 Highway 27, Kerrville, TX 78028. Registration is available through the event QR code provided on the official flyer.
