Learn how volunteers help communities stay informed during severe weather at NED Talk: SKYWARN on Thursday, October 15, from 1 to 2 pm at Riverside Nature Center. National Weather Service Meteorologist Jason Runyen will explain how SKYWARN works, how trained severe weather spotters provide timely and accurate reports to the National Weather Service, and how interested participants can get involved.
