NEd+: Moth Night at Riverside Nature Center Association

Celebrate the start of National Moth Week during NEd+: Moth Night on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 7:30 pm to 11 pm at the Riverside Nature Center Association in Kerrville. Led by wildflower biologist Craig Hensley, the evening will explore the beauty, diversity, and ecological importance of moths through an informative presentation followed by a live mothing experience outdoors.

Participants will have the opportunity to observe a variety of moth species while learning about their vital role in local ecosystems. The program is suitable for nature enthusiasts of all experience levels.

Admission is $5 per person or $20 for a family of up to six people. Participants are encouraged to wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, and mosquito repellent for the outdoor portion of the event.
