Life Skills and 1st–5th Grade Meet the Teacher Night at Tom Daniels Elementary

Families are invited to prepare for the new school year during the Life Skills and 1st–5th Grade Meet the Teacher Night on Monday, August 17, 2026 from 4:30 pm to 6 pm at Tom Daniels Elementary in Kerrville.

Students and their families will have the opportunity to meet teachers, visit classrooms, and bring school supplies before the first day of school. Representatives from transportation and food services will also be available to answer questions, and families can learn more about getting involved with the school’s PTO.

The evening will follow a staggered schedule:

• Life Skills Classes: 4:30 pm–5 pm
• 1st, 3rd, and 5th Grades: 5 pm–5:30 pm
• 2nd and 4th Grades: 5:30 pm–6 pm

Please note that kindergarten students will have a separate Meet the Teacher event on a different date.

The event will take place at Tom Daniels Elementary, Kerrville ISD, 2000 Goat Creek Road, Kerrville, TX 78028.
