KPUB Community Weatherization Event at Dietert Center

Residents can learn practical ways to save energy and reduce utility costs during the KPUB Community Weatherization Event at the Dietert Center. Representatives from Kerrville Public Utility Board (KPUB) and the Alamo Area Council of Governments (AACOG) will share home energy-saving tips and information about available programs. Attendees can learn about AACOG’s free funding for energy-efficiency home improvements, KPUB’s rebate programs, and bill discounts for qualifying households.

The event will take place on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 10 am to 1 pm. Visitors can also enter a drawing for a free Nest smart thermostat, and KPUB will be giving away heat blanket kits while supplies last. The event is free and open to the public.
