Kerrville Grand Opening at Academy Sports + Outdoors

Academy Sports + Outdoors will celebrate the grand opening of its Kerrville location from Friday, August 14 through Sunday, August 16, 2026, with giveaways, demonstrations, special offers, and other activities throughout the weekend.
The celebration begins Friday and Saturday at 8 am and Sunday at 9 am with the Line Up + Win giveaway, featuring free mystery gift cards for the first 150 customers age 18 and older. A total of $15,000 in weekend prizes will be available. Guests can also receive a free gift with an Academy Credit Card application, while supplies last, and enjoy demonstrations and giveaways from Brooks, Crocs, CAT, Wolverine, and Muddy.
Free custom embroidery with the purchase of an Academy private-brand item will be available Friday from 12 pm to 6 pm, Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm, and Sunday from 9 am to 2 pm. The embroidery offer is limited to one item per person and is available to customers age 18 and older.
