Gardening 101: Growing Vegetables at Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library

Gardening 101: Growing Vegetables takes place on Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am in the first-floor Meeting Room at the Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library. This beginner-friendly program introduces the basics of starting and maintaining a vegetable garden at home.

The session will be led by Master Gardener Donna Bellis, who will guide participants through the essentials of planning a garden, selecting the right crops, preparing soil, and watering effectively. The program is designed to help new gardeners gain confidence while learning practical techniques for growing healthy plants.

Whether working with a backyard garden bed or a few containers on a patio, attendees will leave with helpful tips and inspiration for growing their own vegetables.

This program is open to adults ages 18 and older.
