Gardening 101: Creating an Edible Ecosystem at Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library

Gardeners and nature enthusiasts are invited to explore sustainable growing practices during Gardening 101: Creating an Edible Ecosystem at the Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library. Led by Advanced Trained Master Gardener Pat Wolters, this session will outline 12 practical steps for incorporating permaculture principles into any garden space. Participants will learn how to design a thriving ecosystem that blends edible and non-edible plants for beauty and productivity.

The program takes place from 10:30 to 11:30 am on Saturday, November 8, 2025, in the first-floor Meeting Room at the Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library, 505 Water St., Kerrville, Texas 78028. Open to adults ages 18 and older, this event offers a great opportunity to gain insight into sustainable gardening techniques from an experienced local expert.
