Full-Day C.A.R.E.S. Workshop at Schreiner University Junkin Campus Ministry Center

Educators and professionals can explore practical tools for communication, resilience, and emotional well-being during the Full-Day C.A.R.E.S. Workshop at Schreiner University on June 23. Presented through the Center for Talent and Workforce Development Professional Development program, the interactive course focuses on helping educators strengthen self-awareness, emotional literacy, and leadership skills in demanding professional environments.
The workshop runs from 9 am to 6 pm at the Schreiner University Junkin Campus Ministry Center in Kerrville, TX. Using neuroscience-based strategies, reflective exercises, and scenario-based learning, participants will learn techniques designed to improve communication, classroom culture, relationship-building, and personal well-being.
Topics covered throughout the day include nervous system awareness, self-regulation, communication methods, psychological safety, emotional response patterns, and peer-led practice using the C.A.R.E.S. framework: Communication, Awareness, Resilience, Emotional Literacy, and Self-Mastery.
