Art Workshop – Guadalupe River Flags of Hope and Reverence at Heart of the Hills Heritage Center

The community is invited to participate in the Art Workshop – Guadalupe River Flags of Hope and Reverence on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 from 4 pm to 6 pm at the Heart of the Hills Heritage Center in Kerrville.
Led by Jaimie Peterson, MAAT, LPC, ATR-BC, this free workshop offers participants the opportunity to create a commemorative flag representing hope, prayer, and reverence for those lost in the devastating flood, the healing of the Guadalupe River, and the continued healing of the community.
Organizers hope to create a flag honoring each individual who lost their life, with the larger vision of sharing messages of love, remembrance, and hope along the Guadalupe River.
The workshop is free and open to the public, and admission includes access to all Heritage Center exhibits.
The event will take place at the Heart of the Hills Heritage Center, 529 Water Street, Kerrville, TX 78028.
