Art-ober Kickoff Party & DIY Sketchbook Workshop at Kerr Arts & Cultural Center

Kerr Arts & Cultural Center in Kerrville invites you to launch into a month of creativity with the Art-ober Kickoff Party & DIY Sketchbook Workshop. This event sets the stage for Art-ober, an October art challenge inspired by the Hill Country, the autumn season, and Halloween vibes.

Instructor Debralee Sesma will guide participants in creating their own DIY sketchbook, perfectly sized for the challenge. Attendees will also receive a printed list of 31 prompts to inspire daily artwork throughout October, along with tips for maintaining a daily creative practice. Seasonal snacks, music, and a welcoming atmosphere will help spark inspiration.

The workshop takes place on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 1 pm to 3 pm at Kerr Arts & Cultural Center, 228 Earl Garrett Street, Kerrville, Texas 78028.

Open to ages 12 and up, this class is limited to 20 participants. Cost is $45 per person. Teens and adults are encouraged to attend.
