Archeology Book Club at Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library

The Archeology Book Club meets on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm in the Second Floor Reading Area at the Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library. Hosted in partnership with the Hill Country Archeological Society, this discussion group explores books focused on archaeology and ancient civilizations.

Participants read and discuss a range of archaeology-themed nonfiction and fiction, offering a chance to learn more about historical discoveries, cultures of the past, and the science behind uncovering them. The gathering encourages thoughtful conversation in a relaxed setting, making it welcoming for both longtime enthusiasts and newcomers.

This program is open to adults ages 18 and older, and new participants are always welcome.
