16th Annual Pumpkin Run 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run at Kerrville Kroc Center

The 16th Annual Pumpkin Run 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run takes place Saturday, October 24, at 8 am at the Kerrville Kroc Center. Participants can dress in spooky costumes and run the trail at The Kroc while helping raise awareness and funds for youth programs through Kroc Academy.

Race day begins with packet pickup at 7 am, followed by a pre-race warm-up and announcements at 7:30 am. Awards include recognition for the first overall finisher, crowd favorite costume, first place with a stroller, first place with a pet, and first-place 12-and-under boys and girls. Hot breakfast will be provided by McDonald’s after the race, and participants can receive a T-shirt if registered before October 10.

The annual Kroctober Festival follows the race from 9 am to noon, featuring music, food vendors, a pumpkin patch, hayrides, a bounce house, face painting, crafts, photo opportunities, and more. The entry fee is $35 for the 5K or 1 Mile Fun Run.

Packet pickup is available at the Kroc Center on Friday, October 23, from 5:30 am to 9 pm and on race day from 7 to 7:30 am.
